Pacific Pharmacy Group believes that the healthcare of a community is better served by pharmacists and healthcare providers who are strongly committed to their communities. These providers don’t simply work in these communities, but live there, send their children to the same schools, get involved and establish roots.
At Pacific Pharmacy Group we recognize the importance of giving back to the people and the organizations who support, encourage, educate and care for their communities.
Some of our recent activities have included:
Clinica El Carrizo
PPG supports medical care in the underserved town of El Carrizo in Sinaloa, Mexico. Jan Balthasar, PPG’s Director of Pharmacy (pictured far left), teamed up with a group of healthcare providers to volunteer their services at the Clinica El Carrizo in June 2009.
AIDS on the Front Line
PPG supports the 22nd annual AIDS on the Front Line conference. Krista Nadolski (left) and Sarah Kasman (right) attended the event which provides continuing education to healthcare professionals on HIV/AIDS.
AIDS Walk OC
PPG supports OC AIDS Walk 2009. Staff from Garden Grove Pharmacy hosted an informational booth at the event and PPG family members joined the community in raising nearly $500,000 for AIDS support organizations throughout Orange County.
